S-Mail - protected email account


With our account management system, you can view the status of your protected email account, current balance, as well as select and pay for the Premium and Standard services of S-Mail®. Payment statistics are also available. If your are a paid protected email account user, your current subscription plan is blue-coloured, while your ordered (future) subscription plan (if you have one) is green-coloured.

All these options can be accessed on the "Account" page of your S-Mail protected email account. To open the page, press "Account" in the upper menu of your S-Mail web interface.

The following payment methods are available to users of our protected email account: If you pay by credit or debit card, the subscription plan you have chosen will automatically take effect at 0:00 GMT.

If you pay via PayPal, E-gold or Moneybookers, and you have checked "Automatically activate subscription plan after payment", the subscription plan you have chosen will automatically take effect at 0:00 GMT (providing there is enough money on your S-Mail protected email account).

If you pay via PayPal, E-gold or Moneybookers, and have NOT checked "Automatically activate subscription plan after payment", you will need to manually activate your subscription plan. This can only be done after payment is made and indicated on the balance of your protected email account.

If you pay off-line, please make the description of your payment as follows: "S-Mail service". After payment, send an email to our Billing Team specifying: the S-Mail protected email account you have paid for, amount of payment, reference number and date of your payment. Enter "S-Mail - off-line payment" in the subject line of your letter. Afterwards you will need to manually activate your subscription plan. This can only be done after payment is made and indicated on your balance.

The current state of your balance can be seen in the upper left corner of the "Account" page in your S-Mail protected email account.

You will also need to manually activate your subscription plan if you have chosen some other method of payment or have received money to your S-Mail account as the result of a special program (for instance, as an iKey "token" user).

To activate your subscription plan, press "Account" in the upper menu of your S-Mail protected email account web interface, choose the subscription plan, and press the "Activate" button. Your subscription plan will then take effect at 0:00 GMT.

In the "Last two transactions" table at the bottom of the "Account" page, the details of the 2 most recent changes to your protected email account are shown. To see the full history of your account transactions, click on "List all transactions".

If you are a paid account user, and your balance is not sufficient to prolong your subscription plan, we will send you a letter with appropriate notice 7 days before your paid period ends.
